About

Andrew Johnston is a nerd from the Orkney Islands in the north of Scotland. He enjoys listening to and watching netcasts from CNET, Revision3, and TWiT, but when all his headphones are broken it becomes quite hard. He’s quite interested in television presentation and is one of those people who sold their soul to Google a while back, despite not actually being a Googlist.

He’s a user of Twitter, Facebook, Last.fm, and occasionally Goodreads when he remembers it exists. Talking of good reads, he loved reading Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy. However, he doesn’t really care about how you spell “Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy”, even if he’s quite fond of grammar as well. Nevertheless, he will continue to violate the laws of the English language regularly, unless you point his mistakes out to him.

He has had websites in numerous places since forever – the earliest site he had was hosted on 110MB and had a free .tk domain name, and the latest is this very site, Andrewj.org, which happens to be hosted on NearlyFreeSpeech.NET.

He also rather likes referring to himself in the third person. But don’t worry, he’ll try not to do it all the time.

Oh, and Andrew would like to thank you for actually taking the time to read this about page, and promises that he will consider subscribing to your blog (as long as it’s not spam-filled he’ll do it) if you leave a comment on his one.
